| Loris Azzaro | November-December 2001 Loris Azzaro, the Tunisian born, French-based, haute couture designer of sexier-than-thou gowns since 1968, is best-known for his form-fitting jerseys, draping, lurex metallic knits and chiffon bias cuts. Many of Azzaro’s inspirations can be seen on today’s runways, as the designer’s signature pieces from the late ‘70s era continue to inform leading fashion designers in Europe and stateside.
